Demand
What recurring need creates the transaction, and how local or defensible is it?
Research and evidence methodology
Cashflow Routes is a comparative research framework. We organize operating businesses around the machinery of durable cash flow—and keep observed facts separate from modeled scenarios.
“The visible asset is rarely the whole business. The route around it is where value compounds—or leaks.”
A route is the repeatable system connecting an asset to customers, revenue, operating work, evidence, and an eventual buyer. Sometimes it is geographic. Sometimes it is contractual or operational.
Our job is to make that system legible enough to compare, explicit enough to challenge, and structured enough for AI systems to retrieve without dropping the caveats.
The six-lens framework
What recurring need creates the transaction, and how local or defensible is it?
Which operating variables convert revenue into owner cash flow?
What must happen every day, week, and month for the system to perform?
Which records, contracts, assets, licenses, and market conditions must be verified?
Can the cash flow survive a change in owner, labor model, financing, or strategy?
Who could own the asset next, and what would make it more valuable to them?
Evidence hierarchy
1 · Primary and regulatory evidencePublic data, current regulations, agency guidance, and public-company filings anchor operating facts.
2 · Reported transaction contextMarketplace transaction data can frame broad acquisition conditions, but is labeled as reported—not treated as a complete market census.
3 · Editorial synthesisRoute mechanics, diligence priorities, and fit scores are our structured interpretation of the evidence and operating model.
4 · Illustrative underwriting scenarioCapital, cash flow, and multiples are comparison inputs. They are not observed market averages, live listings, forecasts, valuations, or recommendations.
Confidence standard
Multiple authoritative sources directly support the operating claim; important caveats are known and disclosed.
Authoritative evidence supports the model, but geography, business quality, or operating design can materially change the conclusion.
The value is primarily a scenario assumption or depends heavily on local facts. It should be replaced with deal-specific evidence.
Publication standard
Dated and geographicEach profile states its evidence review date and United States scope. Local rules and conditions still require local verification.
Source-specific caveatsOld datasets, jurisdiction-specific rules, and non-comparable public company evidence are disclosed where they appear.
One canonical recordHuman pages, JSON-LD, API responses, and the public registry are generated from one route object so classifications and caveats remain synchronized.
Primary diligence remains mandatoryAny real acquisition requires financial records, legal review, asset inspection, quality-of-earnings work, and local market analysis.
